whooooa We're half way there

Yup, halfway done with my 2 day fast. I woke up super hungry today which was tough, but II had some Chocolate Soy Milk for breakfast and felt good, and some more soy milk, tea and a little juice later in the day. My goal was a liquid fast today, but I did have 2 spoonfuls of Peanut butter before I got on the elliptical, I'm gonna go ahead and walk out on a technicality limb and say that having the pb wasn't reaaaaaaaalllly breaking the fast since I didn't have to chew it, so it's basically a liquid...right...right....well no, but I'm still around 500 for the day so I guess it's still good.

Really wanted to have some animal crackers around dinner time but I didn't. I think that from now on I'll have to see how many calories are in what I want to eat, then count to that number. I'll probably get to about 15 and decide it's not worth it.

Here's my plan for now, fasting again tomorrow, eating a normal day (which for me is of course still low cal) on wednesday, then probably fasting thursday until dinner friday.

Last week

hmm, I guess this week has gone well, I'm much more on track than I was. There was a ot of partying this week which definitly didnt help. This week though is party free so it should be way easier. I'm gonna start this week off on the right track with some liquid fasts. My plan as of right now is to do a liquid fast Monday and Tuesday, eat on Wednesday and see how I feel avout fasting on Thursday Morning and decide then.

I've been looking at a bunch of thinspo and feel wiiiiiiiiicked motivated right now. So i'm really excited to fast, which is so wierd when you think about it...I just can't wait to not do something (aka eat). Well I'm gonna try to post some pictures I found on the world wide web today (depending on if I actually figure out how to post them on blogger).

Have a good week everyone!

Blogging

I am definitly going to try and blog more often. When I started this blog a month ago I wanted to blog a few times a week, but have only done 3 so far. I think having to admit how I'm doing to cyber space will keep me on the straight and narrow.

I have been reading everyones blogs like crazy to get some inspiration/know that other people are working towards the same goals. None of my friends or roomates are trying to lose weight, so I have no one to workout or anything. plus it's not like anyone one of them would be dedicated or serious about thier weight lose as any of you lean ladies. I love the support/inspiration from other people's blogs, I'm trying to comment more on people's blogs.

So far I've done well with getting back on track. I'm pretty much eating exclusivly fruits and veggies, with any other food groups in small amounts or as additions/condements to/for my vegetables like croutons and small amounts of cheese.

I have been planning/preparing my meals well in advance again. That's what I normally do, but once I stopped planning ahead is when i just ate whatever was there. I already have bfast and lunch ready to go for tomorrow (hopefully I can use that extra time in the morning to go for a run before work.)

I hope for a good day tomorrow, Good luck and happy Wednesday to everyone!

New Motivation

Has anyone seen that "I didn't know I was pregnant?" It's about women who went into labor without knowing they were even pregnant. All the women in the show (besides one) was overweight. So new motivation is, don't get so big that you can't even see a pregnant stomach growing under your fat.

Fell off the wagon

So the last two weeks have not been very good. That's right not just a few days of not doing what I should but a whole fortnight!

I had a formal event two weeks ago, which means buffet, which means whoa I ate a lot. The next night I was exhausted and decided that it wouldn't be a big deal if I ate some high cal food. Over the next week I ate a lot at my school cafeteria, which is hard since it's all you can eat! Once I was eating bad I just got into a lazy funk, and I just like didn't care. I feel terrible now, I've gained some weight back, and feel gross because I haven't been eating very healthy. This weekend, with family dinners and a huge Easter brunch doesn't help!

BUT I am going into this week renewed. I am more dedicated than before, now that I've had this reminder of how bad being full and fat feels. I feel so confident when I feel thin, and so embarssed when I know I've over eaten. I am so ready, not only to lose this weight, but to feel some freaking self control and stop losing focus like I have been.

I can't even get on the scale, which is so wierd for me since I usually use it a few times a day (morning/nite/around meals) as a reminder of what my goals are. It's hard not knowing my number, but I'm going to wait until the end of the week, so at least the number won't be as bad, although I know it will still be higher than before.

But hey it's not all bad, I did do a 36 hour fast this week. I could have gone longer but I had a lunch meeting thing so I ate then. I am really surpried by that since I usually suck at it. I took some tips/motivation from bloggerland! I felt good, and not hungry at all. I think that I'm going to start fasting more often (try and do one this week.)

Hmm, ok well I'm going to check out some thinspo and go to the gym.

I hope everyone out there is doing well and feeling slim!

Bouncing around

This last week has been crazy on the scale. After dropping down to 126.6 really quickly, which was was sooo happy about, the scale jumped back up again. I knew that it would but it was still disapointing. I've been at a high 128 for most of the week. I'm still kind of in a plateau, which is super frustrating. At least seeing 126 on the scale was a good motivator for me, now I know it's close and I can get down to it soon.

The most frustrating thing about this week is thatI totally binged last night. I ate till it hurt. The pain hit me kind of fast and it was really bad, I purged a little of it just to reduce the pain. I laid around the rest of the night because I felt so crappy afterwards.

This week I definitly need to stay on track, since I have a formal event during the weekend. I'm not getting too dolled up but I still want to look my best. I hope that it will keep my mind on track and give me the push I need to get past this plateau for good. I'm thinking about fasting at least one of the days, maybe the day before, although I don't usually do too well with fasts. I have a few goals this week.
1. Try some milk alternatives. I few of the blogs I read have been recommending it very
highly. I've got some in my fridge now and will try it this week, probably tomorrow.
2. Weight train. I always focus on cardio cardio cardio, I need to build some muscle and push
my body in a new way
3. Fast at least 1 day. enough said
4. Be vigilant about counting calories and being aware of everything I eat. I have felt myself
getting a little lazy about this and I need to keep my focus so I don't mindlessly away all
my progress.
5. Put the Peanut Butter where I can't reach it. I've been taking little tastes of PB when I'm
working on my computer or wacthing T.V. and it's really adding up. I always think, one
spoonful won't hurt, then bam I've had 4.

Hmm, it's wierd posting this in blogger land not knowing if anyone will ever read it. I have 2 followers which means that at least 2 people have stumbled onto my blog. either way I'm still gonna post it.

First Post

Whoa, my first post. I'm kind of nervous about starting a blog and spilling my secrets into cyberspace. Anyways, I wanted to start this blog for a while. I've been following the blogs of some lovely ladies for about two months now, and I love reading them. I have been using thier tips to help me lose weight and the fabulous thinspo pics to stay motivated. For the last two weeks I've found myself thinking to myself "hmm if I had a blog I'd write this." so now I have a blog and I can write that stuff.

I'm new to blogger, and still figuringout how it works and how to arrange stuff, so I'm not sure how often I'll write or how long it will take me to get my profile looking cool, and figuring out how to post pictures and stuff.

Here is some info on me. I'm a student, and I've gained some weight in college that I'd really like to lose. Since January, with the help of reading blogger, I've lost about 15 pounds. I am 5' 2 and 126.6. I've lost the weight by cutting what I eat in half and I exercise everyday. I plan out my meals in advance and keep a food diary. I find that this diet is not only helping me to stop being such a cow but also I eat wayyyy healthier now, lots of fruits and veggies! I feel way better than when I was sitting on my ass eating like a pig.

I'm not sure what my lowest weight is, it was definitly in the teens when I was in high school. My highest is 145, uhhh. My next short term goal is 120. I am trying to look as good as I can for my trip to Mexico early in the summer. My long term goal (not sure how long this will take me) is to be below 110, I would love to say "oh I'm 1 oh 6".

I think this blog will help keep me on track. I think that writing here as well as in my food diary will keep me from binging. I also look forward to talking to you ladies, instead of just reading your blogs from a far. I look forward to blogging and sharing tips!

Hooray first post! Over and out.
